some progress

It has been awhile and some very frustrating stitching. on her arms there are a lot of
quarter stitches and I made some mistakes and had to frog most of the skin. I just about have it done now and I will do a happy dance when the skin is finished.
Fall is beautiful but the trees are losing their pretty leaves fast now.Halloween is coming fast and I bought some scary outside decorations. They are some scary monsters that I will hide in my flower beds by the walk and when the buttons that are taped on the sidewalk are stepped on these things will rise screaming out of my flower beds.
time to go now and finish her shoulder., and I will try to update sooner.

Yes it is HD time for me

Here she is and I think she is amazing.
and this is some of her beads. Her soft colors are perfect for my bedroom. She is a large project but OMG she is so worth the time I put into her. I am going to ask Jill Rensel to frame her. Jill does the most amazing framing. Now I have to decide what to pick up but for awhile I  will keep her on the q snaps just to look at her.

oh darn

I have done over half the beads and now I seem to have misplaced a package of beads. I will have to order some more and who knows what else I will find to order. My grandkids were here for a week and everything seems so quite now. So now I will browse the Sew and So site from the UK. I really like their service, they will have it shipped to Canada within 24 hours. I am a little bit irked with myself because I am so close to finishing her.

all that's left

only the beading left to do. My daughter and grandkids are coming today so I will finish this later.I have decided to take the rugs out of the bedrooms and put down wood, so we have lots do do. and the kids want to go fishing so if it stops raining and we can brave the mosquitoes we might have fresh fish for supper one night. There is also a rodeo in the area this weekend so I hope we can get a day in at that also. and I can't forget the mini gold game!!!!!

mojo back

yahoo, yesterday I was looking at the Jill Rensel blog and after drooling over all the beautiful pictures she has framed, I picked up my piece and went to work.
I also seem to be in luck because the weather for the next few days will be rain days.I need to get a shopping day in too. I am going to send this piece to Jill to get framed and I can't wait to see what she will do with it.

spring is here finally

My first spring flower,

Lilly doesn't have a lot more done. I am doing the skin 1x1 and that makes me nearly blind. My grandaughter
asked me to stitch Earth Goddess by Joan Elliott so I will do that one and then come back to Lilly. Spending more time outside now so I guess I will just have to stitch faster when I have the time.Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful moms.I am off to the city to spend the weekend with my girls and grandkids.

A Week of stitching

Lilly of the Woods
Despite this cold I have been able to stitch.
And yesterday my Joan Elliott stash arrived
I don't need to start anymore projects, I have enough going but my will power is pretty weak and I know I will not be able to resist too much longer.
This week I have done nothing but watched the news. Our world seems to be spinning out of control.
I hope you have a wonderful week and please come back an visit me soon.

Sunday Morning

Lilly of the Woods
I am scraping myself back together. This cold/flu has knocked the stuffing out of me. Yesterday I was finallly able to do some stitching. I did go into work at the restaurant yesterday afternoon but that didn't last long. What is really needed here are some warm sunny days so the snow can melt and spring can come on in.
